Friends, Flaneurs, Foodies, Bibliophiles and Music-lovers…
We’ve got another fabulous Fringe line-up for you at ‘The Hours’ this year starting on Friday 7 August, at 7pm, with none other than the marvellous Nigel Evans in what will be his only appearance at this year’s Fringe – and solo too. There’s free live music at (approx) 3pm and 7pm Fri-Sun and a bar available all weekend. We are particularly looking forward to Sunday afternoon’s offering at 3pm – Clare Hingott & the Graham Watkins Jazz Trio. We do hope you’ll swing by over the weekend for a delicious chilled vino, ale or beer, and have a boogie (or just sit back and unwind) to some smoking tunes from a line-up that includes some musical folk you won’t hear anywhere else over the weekend in one of the most unique venues the Fringe has to offer.
You will of course, be able to feast on such delights as our Mediterranean platters, freshly prepared sandwiches, delicious cakes and the smoothest coffee in town, as well as treating yourselves to all manner of booky delights. We’ve also got a wonderful new exhibition upstairs from four Artists from Carms Artists Network featuring gorgeous new works in Ceramic, Sculpture, Painting and Printmaking from Viv Albiston, Tanya Rotherfield, Geoff Hockley and Amanda Rose and the exhibition is on all month.
You will find our Fringe listings on our events page, and the official Fringe guide is available in all venues now.
We look forward to welcoming you with open arms over the Fringe /Jazz weekend and our sincere apologies in advance for any Festival induced wide-eyed, frizzy haired, rosy-cheeked, babbling apparitions we may subject you to in the interim 😉
Wherever you go, whatever you do and whoever you see this coming Fringe weekend, tread gently, be safe and have a wonderful time.
