Affectionately known as ‘the first ladies ‘cue’, the girls come to us via Brecon, Belfast and Barry after an American road-trip which saw them throw in brilliant jobs in London to take on the mission of discovering everything there was to know about Southern food and bringing all that knowledge, expertise and love back to the UK.
They have taken the slow and low world by storm; from pop-ups, markets and food festivals they went on to win the BBC 4 Food Award in 2015 for ‘Best Street Food’. This year they opened their first permanent restaurant in Barry and launched their brilliant cook-book ‘The Hangfire Cook Book’.
